The Kefalonia airport
is located 9 km from the island’s capital, Argostoli, in the area
of Svoronata. The transfer time to Kefalonia airport is just a few
minutes from Argostoli. But, the island is the largest of the Ionians
and the distances between the airport and the resorts can reach the
50 km.
There are no public buses running from the airport. A taxi rank is
situated outside it and many hotels offer the transfer with their
private mini-bus.
